London Assembly members visit GoodWork

As part of their investigation into youth unemployment in the capital, members of the London Assembly’s Economy, Culture and Skills Committee visited us at our recent Transition to Work Day with the brilliant NTT DATA.

Young people on our programme spoke about the barriers they’ve faced in navigating the job market, and how our support has made a difference to their confidence and ability to land roles.

Nearly one in four young Londoners are unemployed, the highest rate in the country. And those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds are disproportionately affected, reflecting the impact of poverty and inequality on young people’s outcomes.

Thank you to Chair Bassam Mahfouz and the Committee for coming to see our work in action. You can watch more below.
